         Throughout her legal career, Ms. Madueña has been fearless in her pursuit to achieve just results for her clients.​​  Ms. Madueña did not always know that she would practice immigration law, but she always knew that she wanted to be an attorney.  From a very young age, she possessed a strong sense of justice and the desire to help others.  Additionally, as the daughter of parents that immigrated to the U.S. from Central America, Attorney Madueña can relate to the Latino immigrant community.  Helping families remain together and giving them hope for the future is not only rewarding, but fuels her drive to be an effective advocate. 

​           In addition, Ms. Madueña serves as Of Counsel to the law firm of Galvan, Cornelius & Rice, LLP located in Santa Maria, California.  Together, they are able to provide high quality immigration legal services in an area where there are very few experienced immigration attorneys.  Ms. Madueña also participates in the San Francisco Bar Association's Attorney of the Day Program where she provides pro bono representation to individuals before the San Francisco Immigration Court.  She generously donates her time to immigration legal clinics held by various non-profit organizations all over the Bay Area.  

         During her free-time, Ms. Madueña enjoys running, lifting weights, hiking, going to the beach, cooking, traveling and reading. As the daughter of a retired U.S. Navy Seabee, she has traveled the globe and speaks Spanish fluently and is proficient in Italian.

​​​​​​      Claribel Palacios Madueña, Esq. earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego.  She began practicing immigration law shortly after she graduated from Loyola Law School Los Angeles in 2009. Ms. Madueña has gained extensive experience in a wide range of immigration cases and has successfully guided many individuals through the very complicated and stressful immigration process.  Attorney Madueña is admitted to practice before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. 

        Ms. Madueña has successfully obtained Adjustment of Status, Asylum, Cancellation of Removal and Prosecutorial Discretion for her clients against the U.S. Dep​artment of Homeland Security before the Immigration Court. She has also obtained Adjustment of Status, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Naturalization, NACARA and Waivers before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.  Notably, in March 2011 she presented a complex criminal and immigration oral argument to the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and received a published decision in that case (Gil v. Holder, 651 F.3d 1000 (9th Cir. 2011)).
